Support for Elementary, Middle, and High School Students
School can be a challenging environment for students with learning differences, ADHD, autism, anxiety, or other cognitive or emotional concerns. These challenges can affect focus, academic performance, behavior, and overall confidence in the classroom. Neuropsychological testing can be an essential step in understanding a child’s unique learning profile and obtaining the appropriate school-based accommodations to support their success.
Our comprehensive evaluations assess several areas such as academic achievement, IQ, attention, memory, executive functioning, language processing, visual-spatial, and social-emotional skills. The results provide a detailed picture of how a student learns and where they may need support. This documentation can be used to request accommodations through a 504 Plan or Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Common accommodations may include:
- Preferential seating
- Extended time on tests and assignments
- Reduced homework load
- Use of assistive technology
- Breaks during the school day
- Support with organization and planning
We work closely with families and schools to ensure that each report meets educational requirements and clearly outlines recommendations that are practical, evidence-based, and tailored to the student’s needs.
If your child is struggling in school or if you’re unsure whether they qualify for formal supports, we’re here to guide you through the evaluation process and help advocate for the resources they need to thrive.
